Haskell & White, Irvine, promoted four employees in the tax department and three in the audit and business advisory services department. In the tax department, the firm promoted Kuan Lee to tax in-charge associate; and Rachel Nguyen, Calvin Chu and Sarah Kim to tax seniors. In the audit and business advisory services department, the firm promoted David Brownstein to senior audit manager; and Marya Cruz and Danielle Salveson to audit-in-charge associates.

The Board of Trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation appointed four new members of the Private Company Council to three-year terms: Jeremy Dillard, partner with Singer Lewak; Michael Minnis, associate professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business; Dev Strischek, retired senior vice president and senior credit policy officer, corporate risk management, SunTrust Banks, Inc.; and Frank Tarallo, chief executive officer at Theragenics Corporation. Dillard, Strischek, and Tarallo will succeed current PCC members Jeff Bryan, Steve Brown and Larry Weinstock.
