Brown, Fink, Boyce & Astle promoted nine employees: Richard Brandon to audit senior manager; Gabriel Fink to tax senior manager; Kelly Aguirre, Mandy Dahl and Jason Herrera to audit supervising senior; Cara Duckett and Jared Shimazu to audit senior; and Kaity Hahn and Timur Mamedov to tax senior.

Marcum announced three new leader appointments: Cary Buxbaum, tax and business services partner in the Chicago office, was appointed regional managing partner in Illinois. Jenny Deloy, partner-in-charge of the Illinois assurance services department, was named office managing partner in Chicago. Lisa Hanlon, partner-in-charge of the Illinois assurance services department, was named office managing partner in Deerfield. All three of the new Illinois leaders joined Marcum through the firm's 2015 merger with Chicago accounting firm Frost, Ruttenberg, & Rothblatt.
