Jessica Bundy, Halie Garcia and Tim Tribe have been promoted to principal at REDW CPAs, Phoenix. In addition, Garcia was named a Woman to Watch by the New Mexico Society of CPAs.

CALIFORNIA

Kathy Lawson was promoted to partner in SingerLewak’s Orange County office and Andy Armstrong was promoted to partner in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.

FLORIDA

CPAmerica International, Gainesville, added three new staff members: Dana Pltoke, who will be responsible for tax support, meeting agenda-building, new member orientation, and refresher webinars; Tarena Stanley, who will handle event coordination, the Visitation Improvement Program, and managing member continuing professional education; and Colleen Gaddy, who will manage CPAmerica’s survey efforts and the member sharing library.

ILLINOIS

Larry Isaacson and Jennifer Barliant were named managing partners of Michael Silver & Company CPAs, Skokie, succeeding Earl Holtzman, who has served as MP since 1976. Isaacson, who joined the firm in 1983, became partner in 1988 and founded and managed the firm’s tax consulting and compliance practice. He also served on the firm’s executive committee for six years. Barliant joined the firm in 2002, became partner in 2006, and has served on the firm’s executive committee for two years. She has been a key leader of the firm’s accounting and audit team.

Doug Schwegman was promoted to partner at Legacy Professionals LLP, Chicago. He joined the firm in 2004. In addition, Victor Ancich and Edison Uschold were promoted to senior manager, and Jim Baumgartner, Sally Crnkovich Bredberg and Gina Harkness to manager.

Abram Chrislip and Sean Dawson have been admitted as partners at Mize House & Co. PA. Chrislip joined the firm in 2003 and focuses on audit services; Dawson has over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting, and focuses on providing accounting, payroll and consulting services to a variety of industries.

MISSOURI

Deborah Vandeven joined Brown Smith Wallace, St. Louis, as a tax services principal. She previously worked at Price Waterhouse, and most recently at Barie Pannett CPA PC.

Robert L. Berger, a tax partner and director of the Real Estate and Construction Group at Anders, St. Louis, was named one of the 2017 40 Under 40 by the St. Louis Business Journal.

NEW YORK

Fred Chilkowitz and Hal Zemel were named partners at Berdon, New York. Chilkowitz, chair of valuation services in the firm’s Litigation, Valuation and Dispute Resolution group, has been with the firm for 13 years. Zemel has been with Berdon for eight years and advises businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, advertising and real estate business sectors.

Joe Bublé was appointed to head up the tax practice of Citrin Cooperman, New York.

Robert Graham and Joy Pan have been promoted to partner at Friedman LLP. In addition, Jaclyn Dominguez, Jo Anna Fellon, Christi Gallagher and Maria Gonzalez have been promoted to principal.

Russell Diller has been admitted to the partnership at BDO USA LLP. He joined the firm as an intern in 2006.

Danielle Diantoniis has joined Boyer & Ritter, Camp Hill, in the Forensic, Litigation Support and Consulting Group. In addition, Emily Leskowsky has joined the firm as an associate.

Steve Juska has joined the forensic and financial services practice of CBIZ MHM LLC, Philadelphia, as a managing director, while Jason Dombar has joined the practice as a senior manager, and Allison Hutz as a senior associate.

Deb Bukouricz, Chris Hendricks, Brad Kussow, Sue Pable, and Chris Roble have been named shareholders at Schenck SC. Bukouricz is co-leader of the hospitality and retail team; Hendricks specializes in planning, supervising and reviewing financial reporting engagements; Kussow is rejoining the firm as managing director of transaction advisory services; Pable is responsible for the technial review of audited financial statements of the firm's government clients; and Roble is a member of the Schenck Assurance Leadership Council, providing leadership for monitoring and applying changes to the firm's attest process.
