TaxCloud releases integration with Stripe

TaxCloud, which makes online sales tax compliance services for online retailers, now integrates with the Stripe payment platform. This announcement comes as many more online retailers find themselves having to collect sales tax in additional states since the Supreme Court issued its opinion in South Dakota v. Wayfair in June 2018. TaxCloud also integrates with Amazon Marketplace, Etsy, Shopify, Bonanza, QuickBooks Online, WooCommerce and eBay.

Fyle updates software, creates integration with WhatsApp

Fyle, which makes an artificial intelligence-enabled expense management platform, has updated its software and also launched an integration with the messaging app WhatsApp. Other software enhancements include an API integration for banks and card issuers, as well as ACH payment integration. Fyle already integrates with Google G Suite and Microsoft Office 365.

Fyle also announced an additional $4.5 million in venture capital investment to satisfy enterprise demand for its AI-powered expense management platform, bringing its total equity funding to $10.6 million. Steadview Capital joins Fyle’s Series A round of funding with continued participation from Tiger Global, Freshworks and Pravega Ventures.

BizPayo adds reviews feature to CPA practice payment platform

BizPayo, which makes a payments platform specifically for accounting firms to collect payments from clients, has added a “review” feature. BizPayO Reviews will prompt a client to leave the accountant a review each time they make a payment.

Tipalti raises $76M in Series D funding

Tipalti, which makes payments solutions, has completed a $76 million round of Series D funding. Led by Zeev Ventures, the round also includes a follow-on investment from Group 11 (f.k.a. SGVC) and participation from two new investors: 01 Advisors (a fund founded by Twitter’s former CEO & COO) and Greenspring Associates. Tipalti will use this additional funding to continue to innovate in the payables automation space and grow globally. The company plans to fuel its growth through increased development, customer success, sales, business development headcount and marketing investments, while adding new offices in North America and Europe.

Oversight Systems adds general ledger module to audit and risk management platform

Oversight Systems, which makes employee spend management software, has debuted its general ledger module, expanding its artificial intelligence-powered audit and risk management platform. The module continuously monitors 100 percent of an organization’s journal entries, detecting errors and anomalies in order to prevent fraudulent activity, improve the accuracy of financial statements, and increase the efficiency of the close process.

European budgeting and forecasting platform Bizview Systems acquired by Insightsoftware

Insightsoftware, a North Carolina-based financial software provider with offices in London, has acquired Bizview Systems, a provider of budgeting and forecasting software based in Sweden and Norway. The acquisition marks Insightsoftware's entry into the Nordic market.

Brex’s corporate card for NetSuite achieves ‘Built for NetSuite’ status


Brex, which makes corporate credit cards, has achieved Built for NetSuite status for its NetSuite corporate card. The new SuiteApp, built using the Oracle NetSuiteCloud Computing Platform, offers Brex customers more control and customization over their finance and payables functions. Built for NetSuite is a program for NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Network partners that provides partners with the information, resources and methodology required to help them verify that their applications and integrations meet NetSuite standards and best practices. The Built for NetSuite program is designed to give NetSuite customers additional confidence that SuiteApps have been built to meet these standards.
