Auditors-as-a-service company AuditClub announced new and enhanced weekly passes that allow members to subscribe to AuditClub professionals with an experience level geared to the support they need. The AuditClub Crew passes allow CPA firms and companies to access virtual crew members with up to six years of experience who perform and review audit procedures based on a member's requests. The company has also enhanced its existing AuditClub Chiefs passes to be more simple and provide week-to-week convenience; these passes offer access to the company's fractional partners and managers who continue to deliver a full range of solutions in audit and assurance, quality management, regulatory matters and training.

Valid8 releases automated validation software

Valid8 Financial, which makes forensic accounting software for accountants, announced the release of its new Verified Financial Intelligence platform, which automates the process of verifying accounting data. The program can extract data from more than 30 systems, then uses patented matching algorithms to compare banking activity to accounting entries to achieve full population verification, eliminate sample risk and execute proof of cash and subsequent AR more quickly. The interface displays a self-guiding process map, live progress bars for each step, and one-click navigation to any view or task. It also includes Sankey diagrams that show the flow of funds between accounts, legal entities and financial statement accounts.

New funding

Spend and procurement platform Payem announced today $220 million in equity and credit financing from Viola Credit, Mitsubishi Financial Group, Collaborative Fund and others to fuel its growth. … Web-based valuation platform Valutico said that it closed its first financing round with outside investors. Existing investors also participated in the round, totaling equity funding in the mid seven-figures. Funding was provided by venture capital firms PUSH Ventures and aws Gründerfonds, as well as the Vienna-based Erste Group. Valutico will apply the new funding to further accelerate its growth, deliver on its product roadmap, and grow its product and engineering teams.
