Bizora announced advisory group, will sign off on opinions generated through Bizora

Adam Tahir of Bizora
Tax research solutions provider Bizora announced the launch of Bizora Advisory Group, touted as a second set of expert eyes on returns, backed by AI powered research and citations. The new group provides review and backup support for tax professionals who are handling strategy in-house and want an experienced second reviewer for compliance sign off and less common strategies. Bizora clarified that this is not a full outsourced tax practice but, rather, a scoped, hours based engagement built around a firm's return volume and the specific situations where a second opinion matters. Requests are handled asynchronously, with a standard 48 hour turnaround for review items. Hours are logged per request so usage against the monthly package is always visible. Overage hours beyond the monthly package are billed at an agreed rate. Package changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, not mid month. Engagements begin with a short scoping conversation to confirm which package fits the firm's current volume, then Bizora will set up the shared time log and the first review request. From there, most clients settle into a steady monthly rhythm within the first one or two cycles. The service comes with a a review of completed returns and supporting P&L statements before filing; identification of missing items, inconsistencies, or overlooked positions; second opinion and sign off on uncommon or higher risk strategies; and written memo summarizing findings, with citations to source authority. The work is performed only by credentialed CPAs and EAs but is not, itself, labeled as an accounting firm.

In addition, Bizora announced its MCP tools now work with more AI applications, including Codex and Claude by adding support for the modern /mcp endpoint, replacing the deprecated /sse endpoint. They also updated capabilities.md so AI agents can understand, configure, and use Bizora's MCP tools more easily. And for clients whose harness cannot send custom headers, they added support for passing parameters via URL instead. There are also two new modes over MCP. Deep Tax Research is now available for questions that need more depth. Auto Routing lets Bizora pick between Fast Tax Research and Deep Tax Research automatically, based on the query someone sends.

Finally, Bizora now builds structure around clients automatically. When a user uploads a document, Bizora creates an entity for the corresponding individual or business if one doesn't already exist. If the entity is already there, the document links to it automatically.

From here forward, whenever the user selects an entity in chat or uploads more documents for it, Bizora pulls in previous document summaries and relevant chat memories to give you a more

personalized and accurate response. They can also create and manage entities manually. Bizora also added the ability to save an entire chat to the Vault directly from the left sidebar, and increased the file upload limit to 100 MB.

Commerce platform Qu announced Qu Pay, an embedded, end-to-end payments solution that combines four systems: payment processing, guest identity, order intelligence, and capital access into a single layer of the unified platform. Every transaction becomes data brands can use to better understand and serve their guests. Qu Pay connects enhanced payment data with order, guest, location, and channel information, creating a more complete view of each transaction. Brands can finally recognize the guests they've been serving blind. It also gives operators direct access to capital and cash flow tools informed by their own transaction data, with no separate bank relationship required. Franchisees can access on-demand settlements rather than waiting for a standard payout schedule and receive capital offers based on their processing history instead of a traditional credit application. Qu Pay also uses intelligent transaction routing to lower processing costs. Qu Pay is available now to Qu customers and is rolling out across new and existing brands throughout 2026. Enterprise QSR and fast-casual brands interested in Qu Pay can learn more atqubeyond.com.

Revenue and billing management solutions provider RecVue announced an architectural shift to RecVue RevOS that moves the platform beyond AI-assisted workflows to fully governed, autonomous execution with more than 50 purpose-built agents that work across contracts, invoices and payment data to predict risk, surface anomalies and escalate exceptions throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle. In this way, RevOS connects the individual steps in the revenue cycle by operating as an interconnected system of agents that reason within and across five solution pillars: Contracts & Pricing, Billing & Invoicing, Receivables and Cash Management, Revenue Recognition and Revenue Share. Every agent operates with a full audit trail traceable to the originating contract, invoice, or payment event; approval checkpoints, ensuring human judgment is preserved; AI cost visibility and role-based access control across every workflow; and human-in-the-loop escalation built into agent logic. Further, the RevOS Portal delivers a persona-configured intelligence experience for every stakeholder in the revenue lifecycle. For the CFO, that experience is the CFO Copilot, an executive layer that reasons across all five solution pillars to surface risks, explain root causes, and suggest interventions in real time. People can learn more and see RevOS live in an August 19 webinar.

Billtrust announces MCP server for Claude and Microsoft Copilot compatibility

Billtrust
AR solutions provider Biltrust announced the launch of its new MCP server which enables people to access its platform via Claude and Microsoft Copilot. With the MCP Server, a CFO can ask "Summarize our AR risk going into quarter end" and get an executive summary drawn from live Billtrust data in seconds -- or an AR manager can get a ranked list of accounts trending late -- no reports, no separate logins. The connector covers invoicing, payments, cash application, and AR analytics. Access is deliberately read-only at launch. Each customer's data stays in its own environment, AI tools receive only structured answers rather than raw data access, and every query carries a full audit trail. An embedded Billtrust interface and prompt library arrive later in 2026. Further out, Billtrust plans to expand beyond read-only so teams can act and automate workflows directly from their AI tool.
