The Association for Accounting Marketing presented 29 awards to accounting firm marketers in categories such as advertising, branding, business development initiatives, events, and marketing and PR campaigns.
Experts in the field of marketing, advertising, communications and professional services sifted through more than 100 entries and picked the winners based on the accomplishment of specific goals and objectives, executing a project strategically, and measurable results. The awards were announced Monday at the Portland Art Museum during AAM’s 2018 Summit in Portland, Oregon.

AAM also said Wednesday that it named Nicole Gantz, a marketing partner at Honkamp Krueger & Co., as the winner of its 2018 Marketer of the Year award. In addition, Jack Kolmansberger, chief marketing officer of Herbein + Company Inc., and Eric Majchrzak, chief marketing officer of Beach Fleischman, were inducted into the AAM Hall of Fame. Rebecca Weiland of Rea & Associates Inc., received the Volunteer of the Year award, and Katherine Koon, a marketing specialist at GBQ, was honored as Rookie of the Year.
