Billtrust acquires Credit2B, grows A/R offering
Billtrust, a business-to-business payment management software provider, has acquired Credit2B, whose software assesses creditworthiness. Together the companies plan to form a more complete accounts receivable offering. Based in South Plainfield, New Jersey, Credit2B uses crowdsourcing and other technology to provide insight into payment behavior and financial risk information on customers that businesses share in common, enabling suppliers to make credit risk decisions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
