Acumatica Moves Headquarters to Seattle Area

Cloud and on-premises enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management software provider Acumatica has expanded its U.S. presence by opening new office headquarters in Kirkland, Wash. effective today.

Acumatica opened its Bethesda, Md. headquarters in 2009 with the hiring of chief executive Ezequiel Steiner and then to McLean, Va. a little over a year ago.  While the Virginia office will remain open for the time being, the new headquarters will house sales, marketing, product management, support, and finance administration as well as all senior management.

The company is also confident that the move will enable them to recruit from a larger and broader talent pool.

“Relocating to the Seattle area is a logical next step, where there is a wealth of innovative and talented individuals with whom we’d like to partner as we continue that growth,” said Acumatica chief operating officer Yury Larichev “By making this move now, we’ll be in closer proximity to high quality ERP marketing and channel resources throughout the Seattle IT community.”

The proximity to Microsoft headquarters in particular is also part of the move’s design as Acumatica is “looking forward to closer ties and support with Microsoft, since Acumatica is an ISV Preferred Partner for Windows Azure, Microsoft’s cloud platform,” added Larichev, who recently came from Microsoft where he served as general manager of worldwide SMB sales and marketing operations.

He also noted that Acumatica’s software engineering team will remain in Moscow, Russia. Acumatica has additional offices in Mexico, Indonesia, and Singapore.
