AEI to Discuss SOX Lessons

The American Enterprise Institute will host a morning conference, titled " Sarbanes-Oxley: What Have We Learned?" on March 13.

The conference will last from 9 to 11 a.m. at the AEI's Wohlstetter Conference Center, in Washington. Registration details are available at www.aei.org/event1273.

At the conference, University of Illinois law professors Larry Ribstein, a scholar of corporate and securities law, and Henry N. Butler, an expert on the economic analysis of law, will discuss their upcoming monograph, "The Sarbanes-Oxley Debacle: How to Fix It and What We've Learned."

Richard Booth of the University of Maryland School of Law and AEI's Alex J. Pollock and Peter J. Wallison will respond. Ted Frank, director of AEI's Liability Project, will act as moderator.
