AGH Merges in DWA

Aarons Grant & Habif LLC has merged Donner, Weiser & Associates into its Atlanta-based practice.

DWA moved into AGH’s offices last month, increasing the firm’s size to over 75 professionals. All of the 10 DWA professionals were retained, including four partners in the firm. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The combined firm is conducting business under AGH’s name. AGH conducted an extensive search within the Atlanta region looking for a firm with strong audit and taxation skills and found Donner, Weiser & Associates. The two firms were in talks for about a year prior to the merger.

The new partners allow AGH to provide a wider array of expertise, including forensic accounting, litigation support, and corporate merger and acquisition consulting.

"For AGH, it was a move for growth and the expertise of the new partners coming in," said spokesperson Michelle Robinovitz. "For DWA, they felt it was a very good fit, and we did too. The culture fit in very nicely with the culture over here."

AGH serves both national and international clients. The firm specializes in a variety of industries, including real estate, health care, finance and manufacturing. It also services estates and trusts.
