AICPA Names Henson Vice President of Strategy

Kevin Henson is the new vice president of strategy at the American Institute of CPAs.

In this role, Henson and his teams work closely with AICPA’s leadership to develop short and long-term strategies as well as market, business, and competitive intelligence for the Institute. This includes spearheading corporate strategic development and planning efforts to drive growth, enhance the brand, and deliver superior performance. Additionally, Henson leads an internal team dedicated to identifying key strategic opportunities, acting upon competitive and market forces, and seizing new business opportunities.

Henson joined the AICPA after more than 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and finance roles at Harris Corporation and the Boeing Company.

Henson holds a BA in Economics and a BA in Political Science from the University of Kentucky. He earned an MBA from the University of California – Irvine. His professional development includes courses at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and The Executive Program from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

He is based in the Institute’s Durham, North Carolina office.
