App of the Week

Whether you like PDFs or not, many practitioners, and even consultants, are always looking for better ways to work with them, and more are turning to the Save2PDF app that allows users to create PDFs right on their iPads.

Save2PDF will convert most file formats into a PDF including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, pages, numbers, keynote, photos, Webpages, and contacts. Users can also merge several documents, including other PDFs into a single PDF file.

The app allows users to import files from other apps using the “Open In” function, and can work with any app that has the Open In file sharing built in.

Save2PDF is fully integrated with iCloud, CloudMe, Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net, and WebDAV so users can move or print documents their iPads from a cloud file storage account.
In addition, users can print to all printers (Network/WiFi/USB/Bluetooth) via their Mac or PC or direct to most WiFi printers without additional software.  However, afree WePrint helper application may need to be installed on your Mac/PC.

The latest update allows users to select and print multiple images and has a fix for SugarSync not showing all folders as well as an occasional error in the email folder and printer screen.

The app is currently in the Apple App Store for $5.99.
