App of the Week

The mobile practitioner needs tools to stay connected to their calendars for all meetings and schedules, and the Tempo Smart Calendar app is one getting noticed and appreciated as it acts like a virtual personal assistant.

Tempo Smart Calendar finds and neatly organizes everything you need for each meeting, and can help dial into conference calls without searching for passcodes; quickly finds everyone at each company in your calendar; can email, text or call in one tap; keeps track of all of related emails for each event; finds who you’re meeting with each week; finds necessary documents related to meetings or events; can automatically send a “running late” text or email; can locate the addresses of meetings as well as directions, expected drive times and local parking; keep track of a flight status; and send gifts and eCards for all occasions.

Tempo also connects your calendar to your contacts in Google, Outlook, or iPhone and works with a majority of Web and desktop email accounts and formats.

The latest version offers a bug fix for some issues that some users experienced including crashes and the Birthday Calendar not being listed in Visible Calendars. It also increased the date range when searching events in your calendar.

Tempo Smart Calendar is currently available for free in the iTunes Store and requires iOS version 7.0 or higher.
