Jeremy Migliara has been hired as a principal at Top 100 Firm Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, PC, where he will serve in the firm’s State and Local Tax Group.
In his new role, Migliara will develop new tax planning alternatives and solutions for a variety of clients, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.
Migliara has more than 15 years of accounting experience and specializes in federal and state tax compliance, tax forecasting and strategy, and transactional analysis.
Prior to joining Argy, Migliara worked for two Fortune 500 companies, where he handled state tax compliance and planning for a number of national and multistate corporations. He initially started his career at Deloitte LLP, where he managed multistate tax projects and advised clients on state tax compliance and planning, restructuring, state audits and controversy.
Over the years Migliara managed state tax compliance for U.S. consolidated groups as well as tax audits for income and franchise, sales and use taxes. He also has experience with ASC 740, entity restructuring for state tax purposes, mergers and acquisitions, refund recovery and preparing technical memorandum documents for state tax positions.
