Orlando, Fla. — Business governance solutions provider Axena Inc. has rolled out the latest version of its Web-based Sarbanes-Oxley compliance solution, SOAx Toolkit 4.0.
The SOAx Toolkit aims to help corporations address the requirements of SOX Sections 302 and 404, which create new responsibilities for corporate management and external auditors in reporting on internal controls. The newest version of the Toolkit meets all of the reporting criteria outlined by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s recently approved Auditing Standard No. 2.
New features include configurable Sarbanes-Oxley role definition, which allows system administrators to build roles and assign accounts at different access/rights levels based on company requirements; a new reporting engine that allows users to report on control status by location, process and financial reporting element; an upgraded process documentation and mapping engine that links risks to controls at both the significant account level and the detailed control level; advanced location sign-off; and multiple language support.
