BDO Seidman has appointed Carl W. Pergola as executive director of the firm's BDO Consulting division.Pergola formerly ran BDO's litigation and fraud investigation practice. A member of BDO's board of directors, he is based in the firm's New York office.
In the past 10 years, he has led a team of forensic accountants, certified fraud examiners, licensed private investigators, technology consultants, and former federal agents and bank investigators.
BDO Consulting offers litigation, investigation, restructuring and risk advisory services. The firm has worked on engagements involving Enron, WorldCom, Lipper & Co. and Time Warner.
Pergola is a member of the American Association of CPAs, the New York State Society of CPAs and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and an associate member of the American Bar Association.
