BDO Revenue Increases 9 Percent

Worldwide revenue for the BDO International network, which includes U.S. member firm BDO Seidman, grew to $5.145 billion in the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, a 9 percent increase from last year.

Over the course of the year, BDO added new member firms in Croatia, France and India. BDO also completed mergers in 12 other countries, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Malaysia and Poland.

"The network's strong performance reflects continued investment by BDO member firms," said BDO International CEO Jeremy Newman in a statement. "The current economic downturn will be a challenge for all businesses moving forward, but I am confident that the network will continue to develop because of its unrelenting focus on providing the highest quality service to clients."
