Bernard Robinson & Co. Merges with Furr & Newell

Bernard Robinson & Co. of Greensboro, N.C., has entered the Raleigh, N.C., market with the addition of Furr & Newell.

Bernard Robinson & Co., which made the merger announcement on its Web site, increased its size to a total of 90 employees, which includes 55 CPAs.

According to a report in the Winston-Salem Journal, Wade Pack, managing partner at Bernard Robinson & Co., stated, “Entering the Triangle market has been part of a larger, long-term plan. The strength of the area and the way it is positioned for continued growth cannot be denied. We were very happy to be able to identify a firm that shared our values and the same passion for client service.”

Bernard Robinson & Co. started to expand in North Carolina when it opened an office in the Winston-Salem market  in May.
