Botkeeper Infinite has a new lease on life as it has been acquired by bookkeeping and accounting solutions provider
"Botkeeper Infinite's assets, our AI assets, have been acquired and stood up as its own distinct division once again. So we're back in operations. The lights are on. The servers are running. Phone calls are starting to be made and emails. Customer success [will] start to take new orders. There's obviously some work that needs to be done here with systems and integrations behind the scenes, but nothing that would disrupt services there," said Palmerino.
The investors at Xendoo, he added, saw what the company had been doing over the years and started the process of acquiring its assets two weeks ago. He said that he would have liked to have announced something right away, but he wanted to make sure everything was in place before going public with the news that Botkeeper Infinite was back. But then again, it wasn't entirely gone in the first place. Palmerino noted that, despite the company technically shutting down, the actual platform kept operating and the software stayed on the entire time, so as to give customers time to make adjustments, some of whom were still there.

"Infinite is going to continue," said Palmerino. "You go to the website, it's up and running like it was before. We're still serving clients that are on the platform and haven't left. The biggest thing I have to do is damage control with the team and make amends for all the anxiety and disruption this has caused. I hope some people give us a second chance."
This includes not just customers but staff as well. He said they are actively working to bring back as many staff members as they can.
"I reached out to all staff over the last few days to see who hasn't gotten a job yet [and communicate] we're still available and let's start to figure out those next steps," said Palmerino. "Will we be able to bring back everyone? The reality is no because these last two weeks were carnage. … But we still had a good amount of revenue. Now I've got to figure out what's still there after this. So we'll have to retrench a little bit and then build from there."
And better than before. Botkeeper Infinite will continue to see development, with Palmerino hinting at a "massive upgrade" in the future.
"Infinite is going to get a massive upgrade very quickly, something that would have taken us so much more time, so much more money to do. But now I get to bring it to market a lot quicker, and I get to actually see where I imagined this thing would be 10 years ago," he said.
He anticipates these upgrades will come out before the end of this year.
