Brittenford Systems Grows Cloud Consulting Practice with Intacct

Long-time Microsoft Dynamics reseller Brittenford Systems has signed a partnership with SaaS-based financial management and accounting software vendor Intacct to resell and develop future offerings for the cloud.

Brittenford’s portfolio includes Dynamics SL, Dynamics GP and both the on-premises and cloud-based versions of Dynamics CRM. Brittenford Systems is adding Intacct to its portfolio to meet what it describes as increased customer demand for a complete, cloud-based financial management and accounting system.

“We’re planning to build repeatable solutions based on Intacct for our key existing industries, and also leverage Intacct's flexible platform to build standalone, Intacct-centric applications for new markets,” said Brittenford chief executive Shereen Mahoney. “We considered other cloud financial application vendors, but we felt that Intacct was the best option. Intacct has incredible momentum in the market, an outstanding reputation, and its unmatched project accounting functionality was a key factor in our decision.”

Former accounting software VAR Michael Mahoney founded Brittenford Systems—then known as Adonix Inc.—in 1997 in Reston, Va. and the firm launched a Great Plains practice two years later.
