Brown Smith Appoints New Partner

David Heilich has been promoted to serve as partner at Brown Smith Wallace LLC.

Heilich joined the firm in 2005 and led the firm’s Family Wealth Planning practice.

“David has been integral to the development and success of the firm’s Family Wealth Planning practice,” Brown Smith Wallace’s managing partner Harvey Wallace said in a statement. “In today’s volatile political environment, our clients have experienced a growing need for strategic wealth planning to protect their assets and achieve their financial goals.”

Heilich is a member of the AICPA, the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.

Heilich earned a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in Accounting from Saint Louis University. He currently serves on the American Red Cross Planned Giving Advisory Council, the Planned Giving Super Committee for the SSM Health Care Network Foundations, the Planned Giving Cabinet for the Barnes Jewish Hospital Foundation and the St. Louis County Library Foundation Professional Advisors Group.
