The state of California has filed a tax lien for $18,490.74 against reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
One of the members of the wealthy Kardashian-Jenner family whose lives have been chronicled on the E! reality TV series, Keeping up with the Kardashians, the 26-year-old model, radio host and fashion boutique owner allegedly owes the taxes on her 2007 income, according to
A source close to Kardashian claims that she paid the taxes with her former accountant, but that he failed to remit the money to the state. She has now purportedly hired a new accountant, who has paid the lien on her behalf. However, the state has not yet processed the payment and cleared her name on its records.
Kardashian married Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom last September and officially changed her name to Khloe Kardashian Odom.
