Web-based audit confirmation services provider Capital Confirmation Inc. has released a mobile app of its Confirmation.com service.
Free to all Confirmation.com users, the new app allows auditors and bank and company responders to get real-time status updates on their audit confirmations directly from an Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
The new app provides a search feature that allows auditors to look up all confirmation statuses and detailed results for a specific client. Bank and company responders can also use this app to get status updates on new confirmation activity, including requests that are pending and in progress.
“Today, mobile devices are being used more than ever before to handle things typically done from a desktop,” said Capital Confirmation founder and chief marketing officer Brian Fox. “We are excited to release the first version of our mobile app that delivers some key features of Confirmation.com into a mobile experience. It gives our users the tools they need to manage their audit confirmations wherever they are – whether they’re on a client appointment, at the airport, in a hotel, or working from home.”
Last June, CPA2Biz, the marketing arm of the American Institute of CPAs, added Capital Confirmation to its list of Trusted Business Advisor Solutions, which also includes Bill.com, Copanion, Intacct, Paychex, XCM Solutions, and Apptix.
