CCH Adds Library View to IntelliConnect

CCH has added a Library View to its IntelliConnect tax and accounting research service.

The new Library View feature organizes specific information on a single page and helps users switch between topics more conveniently.

The Library View provides a picture of all the publications and sources identified in content searches. Users can click and select as few or as many information sources and publications they need —as if pulling items off a digital bookshelf. For zeroing in on a particular passage, Library View also enables menu walking for navigating to details in a specific publication, such as an explanation in CCH’s Standard Federal Tax Reporter.

“As we round the corner towards a new tax season, Library View and all our recent IntelliConnect enhancements provide a significant edge in helping tax and accounting professionals work the way they want,” said CCH product manager Tina Rajski.

Earlier this year, CCH added a Categorized View option to IntelliConnect to automatically display search results by document type, including explanations, laws, regulations and more. Subscribers can also now customize their research experience by saving smaller sections of content on the Browse Tree into Practice Areas. Federal Tax Legislative Developments charts track federal tax legislation, including summaries of all legislative provisions with access to in-depth explanations and analysis, relevant Tax Code sections, full text of laws and committee reports, and relevant client letters. CCH also enhanced the IntelliConnect home page and made improvements to Tax Tracker News, including top-line links and an improved customization setup.

Subscribers can also now access CCH’s content and tools via IntelliConnect through the CCH Mobile application for the iPhone, iPad and BlackBerry mobile devices.
