CCH has integrated the SpeedTax line of Software as a Service-based sales tax software with its CorpSystem corporate tax software.
CCH acquired SpeedTax in July with the intention of providing small and midsized companies and the CPA firms that serve them with a SaaS-based sales tax offering (see CCH Buys SpeedTax). The company said Thursday that it has renamed SpeedTax as CCH CorpSystem Sales Tax SaaS to align it with other products in its corporate tax portfolio.
Sales Tax SaaS, like SpeedTax, will be sold in three versions: CorpSystem Sales Tax Core will provide the automated calculation service, integrated with a firm’s existing financial and e-commerce applications. CorpSystem Sales Tax Plus extends the features in the core package to include automated returns, filing and remittance. CorpSystem Sales Tax Pro adds specialized tools for CPAs and consulting firms to manage sales tax for multiple clients.
Each system provides sales tax calculations, streamlined returns processing and filing, enterprise resource planning software integration, Web-enabled technology, and protective audit defense features.
