CCH Small Firm Services has begun shipping its ATX and TaxWise lines of software for tax year 2009, with links to tax research from CCH.
The software will ship to all active customers of the two lines of software by the end of November to provide ample time to get ready for next tax season. The price remains the same as last year for both product lines.
This year, several of the ATX and TaxWise packages will include access to CCHs new IntelliConnect line of Web-based tax research services. Customers will also be able to buy stand-alone IntelliConnect research bundles.
The company has also expanded its support for the programs. Visitors to both the ATX and TaxWise customer service Web sites can exchange opinions and advice on community bulletin boards and on blogs with postings from CCH SFS executives. Theyll also find ATX and TaxWise information on FaceBook, LinkedIn and YouTube. In addition, users will have new Web-based tools to administer their remote offices and adjust employees software settings.
Other enhancements include improved imports of investment information, e-filing notifications, movement of K-1 data between business and individual returns, customization of client organizers and letters, and 64-bit compatibility.
