Change of Auditors

ESMARK APPOINTS DELOITTE

Steel services concern Esmark has appointed Deloitte as its independent accountant effective immediately. In a filing, the Chicago Heights, Ill.-based company said that it previously did not have an independent auditor. Deloitte will audit Esmark's 2007 financials.

MARCUS CORP. TO JETTISON AUDITOR

Hospitality and entertainment concern Marcus Corp. said that it would dismiss big Four firm Ernst & Young at the end of its fiscal year, and named Deloitte as its successor. The company, based in Milwaukee, said that the dismissal will take place May 29. According to a federal filing, the reports of Ernst & Young on the company's last two fiscal years didn't contain any adverse opinions, and there were no disagreements between the company and the auditor over financial matters in those two years.

INVESCO ENGAGES ERNST

Atlanta-based investment management concern Invesco Ltd. has engaged Ernst & Young as its independent accountant. In a filing, the company said that it recently transferred its stock listing to the New York Stock Exchange from the London Stock Exchange, and therefore changed its accounting firm to E&Y's U.S. operations from E&Y's U.K. operations.

CATAPULT DISMISSES AUDITOR

Catapult Communications Corp., a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of communications testing systems, dismissed Big Four firm Deloitte & Touche as its auditor and engaged Stonefield Josephson as its replacement. Catapult said in a filing that it had no disagreements with its former auditor on matters of accounting practices or principles over its last two fiscal years.
