Change of auditors

CVB ENGAGES KPMGCVB Financial Corp., an Ontario, Calif.-based holding concern for Citizens Business Bank, has hired Big Four firm KPMG as its independent accountant, replacing McGladrey & Pullen.

In a filing, no reason was given for the change in auditors other than that it had been approved by the company's audit committee.

McGladrey & Pullen's reports on CVB Financial's financials for 2005 and 2006 didn't contain any adverse opinions, and there weren't any disagreements between the client and its former auditor.

CAM COMMERCE SOLUTIONS HIRES ERNST & YOUNG

CAM Commerce Solutions, a point-of-sales software and equipment provider in Fountain Valley, Calif., named Big Four firm Ernst & Young as its new auditor. Ernst succeeds McGladrey & Pullen as the company's independent accountant.

The reports on CAM Commerce Solution's financial statements for the years ended Sept. 30, 2005 and 2006, did not contain any adverse opinions or disclaimers of opinion, and were not otherwise qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles.

UNICA SWITCHES BIG FOUR AUDITORS

Unica Corp., a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of enterprise management software, has dismissed Ernst & Young as its auditor, and appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as its replacement.

In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the company said that its former auditor concluded in a March 31, 2007, report that the company failed to maintain effective controls over financial reporting.

Unica said that the material weakness was related to revenue recognition for software sales.

ACACIA RESEARCH CORP. JETTISONS PWC

Acacia Research Corp., a Newport Beach, Calif.-based developer of patented research technologies, dismissed Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers as its auditor. Acacia has named Grant Thornton as its new independent accountant.

According to a federal filing, Acacia said that the auditor switch did not come about as a result of any disagreements with its former auditor on matters of accounting principles or practices.
