Jose Vila has joined Cherry Bekaert LLP as an audit partner in the firm’s South Florida practice.
[IMGCAP(1)] Vila has more than 25 years of public accounting and private company finance experience. Vila will serve as an engagement audit partner for both publicly-held companies and privately-held businesses. His industry expertise includes real estate, construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and distribution companies.

A licensed CPA in Florida, Vila is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA. He is board treasurer of the Borinquen Healthcare Center, audit board member for the City of Doral, Florida, and finance and audit committee member of the United Way of Miami.
Vila earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Sacred Heart University. Prior to joining the Cherry Bekaert, he was a managing director at a national accounting firm.
