Citrin Cooperman Joins Moore Stephens

Citrin Cooperman & Company has joined the Moore Stephens North America association of accounting firms.

The New York City-based firm is the 56th member of MSNA, which includes accounting firms in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Besides tapping the knowledge of other MSNA member firms, Citrin Cooperman gains worldwide access to members in more than 350 accounting firms in 98 countries as part of London-based Moore Stephens International Limited.

“We’ve grown steadily over the past 30 years and continue to serve the needs of our clients,” said Citrin Cooperman managing partner Joel Cooperman in a statement. “Our prior affiliation with Premier International served us well for many years, but as our firm has grown and our clients have expanded all over the world, we saw a need to join a larger network. Our membership in Moore Stephens further ensures that we can partner with accounting talent almost anywhere in the world to provide solutions where familiarity with local laws, regulations and practices is vital to success.”

As a member of MSNA based in New York City, Citrin Cooperman also becomes a resource for association members throughout the U.S. and around the world. “The addition of Citrin Cooperman to Moore Stephens adds significantly to the overall strength of the association in a number of practice areas and provides us with the necessary expertise in a major economic market,” said MSNA executive director Steven Sacks. “The firm has proven over three decades in business its ability to help clients succeed by delivering a wide range of accounting, tax and consulting services.”
