Jerry Gottlieb, Steve Flekier, and Danielle Bordman will continue to lead the Overland Park, Kan., office, establishing a CLA position in Kansas.
“Clients trust us to help solve their problems and reach their dreams,” said CLA chief practice officer Terry Enger in a statement. “Jerry, Steve, Danielle and the entire team’s character and approach provide a strong, consistent CLA presence in Kansas.”
[IMGCAP(2)]Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. CLA ranked 10th in Accounting Today’s 2015 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $598.4 million in annual revenue.
“We talked to some smaller firms that wanted to act like a large firm,” said Gottlieb Flekier partner Steve Flekier in a statement. “We wanted a large firm that acted, operated and functioned as a small firm.”
The deal is expected to broaden the range of capabilities and resources that Gottlieb Flekier can offer its clients. “It will be business as usual,” said Gottlieb Flekier partner Jerry Gottlieb. “With a lot of upside.”
