Concur Breeze Changes Name, Adds Features

Travel and expense management service provider Concur has renamed its Concur Breeze product and added a new dashboard-like home page and several time-saving features.

Now known as Concur Small Business edition, the updated product gives users the ability to use “smart tips” to help automate the expense reporting process. The application is able to capture receipts with a smartphone. It also offers the ability to upload or email receipts to a dedicated inbox, sync credit card charges automatically, and file or submit expenses on-the-go using Concur's mobile app.

“Since launching the Concur Advisor Program, we’ve become a vital partner in helping accountants advise their small business clients on all aspects of expense management,” said Concur senior director of business development, Bob Lewis. “By updating the name of our small business expense reporting solution to Concur Small Business edition, we’re now even more aligned with our accounting partners in helping them serve the needs of their clients. Armed with a solution that really says ‘small business’, Concur Advisor Partners can focus on delivering the service and expertise that enables their clients to save even more time and money.”

In addition, recent product integrations allow users to sync their expense reports with QuickBooks, upload and store receipts, calculate mileage using Google Maps, create expense reports from TripIt itineraries, and reimburse employees through direct deposit.

“Small business owners tell us what they really want is simple technology that gives them hours back in their day, so they can focus on growing their business,” said Concur executive vice president and general manager of SMB Elena Donio.
