CPAmerica to launch new learning platform

Accounting firm association CPAmerica announced expanded CPE and online learning offerings through a new learning management platform that it is launching in cooperation with continuing professional education company Prolaera.

The new learning management system will give CPAmerica member firms access not only to a large library of CPE content in one central location, but it will also provide a CPE compliance-tracking tool, as well as reporting resources. The association has worked on this initiative for several months, having taken time to evaluate different partners before deciding Prolaera was the appropriate choice.

“We are excited to support members’ needs for training and CPE with our new LMS,” said CPAmerica president Grace Horvath in a statement. “The post-pandemic workplace has made staff training and development even more challenging, and our partnership with Prolaera will further enhance the essential resources and benefits of membership.”

The new learning management system will formally launch on June 15 at 3 p.m., when there will be a complimentary webinar for members featuring speaker Kimberly Ellison-Taylor, a former chair of the American Institute of CPAs.
