Data Impact Names New CEO

Cloud-based electronic invoice presentment and payment software provider Data Impact has appointed veteran financial technology executive Michael Lane as its new chief executive and a member of the board of directors.

Data Impact founder and previous CEO Bill Plant-Mason will remain with the company as president.
Prior to joining Data Impact, Lane served as senior vice president and general manager of Bottomline Technologies, a provider of cash management solutions.  Previously, he worked as managing director of global banking and capital markets for Pegasystems, a provider of business process management technology. Earlier in his career, Lane served as global director, capital with Accenture.

“Michael’s diverse background, record of driving growth in financial services, and his experience with software companies, consulting firms and leading financial institutions, has prepared him to readily grasp the business challenges faced by Data Impact’s clients,” said Data Impact board member Bill Bridgers. “His ability to act as a trusted advisor to companies as they plan their receivables strategies will prove incredibly valuable as the company enters this exciting new growth phase.”
