Davenport, Marvin, Joyce Names New Partners

North Carolina accounting firm Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co. LLP announced the promotion of three new partners: Stacy M. West, Shirley B. Weigel and Laurie D. Williams.

"Over the years, Stacy, Laurie and Shirley have exemplified those qualities, and it is particularly exciting to welcome them in their new roles."

Williams, who is partner-in-charge of the firm's Burlington office, has been with the firm since 1996. A Certified Fraud Examiner, she holds a BS BA degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Certificate of Study in Accounting from Guilford College, as well as the American Institute of CPAs' Certified in Financial Forensics credential.

[IMGCAP(2)]Weigel and West are both partners in the Greensboro office. Weigel joined the firm in 1990 in the Auditing and Accounting Department, and plans and supervises engagements with distribution, nonprofit, manufacturing, professional services and construction clients. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a BS in Accounting and Management.

[IMGCAP(3)]West joined the firm in 1996, and plans and supervises engagements with with distribution, nonprofit, manufacturing, professional services and construction clients. She graduated from Greensboro College with a BS in Business Administration & Economics, and Accounting.
