Deltek Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Deltek Inc. has appointed Michael Krone as its new treasurer and chief financial officer, filling a vacant position once held by newly appointed chief executive Mike Corkery.

The news comes just a few weeks after Deltek officially named Corkery as its CEO, following the recent departure of Kevin Parker. Corkery had served as CFO since 2010.

Krone previously served as Deltek’s corporate controller and has held that position since he joined the company in August 2008. Before Deltek, Mike held various senior financial management positions at numerous software and services companies including webMethods, Bearing Point, Enterworks, and Telos.

“Mike is the perfect choice to be our next CFO. He has been instrumental in helping to drive Deltek’s growth and profitability since he joined our company in 2008,” said Corkery. “His combination of financial acumen and knowledge of Deltek and our markets will serve him well during the next stage of our journey.  I am excited to work closely with Mike in the coming years as we continue our mission of delivering the industry’s broadest and deepest solutions for project-based businesses.”
