Rocky Pattillo has been named Drake Software's new vice president of sales, in charge of the tax software vendor's national sales department.
Pattillo is responsible for the strategic positioning of the company in the accounting software industry, targeting tax preparation businesses of all sizes. He is also in charge of the management and coordination of the company's sales force. He previously served as assistant director of sales for Drake Software from 2005 to 2008, and as software sales director since 2008.
"One of my primary goals as the new head of sales is to streamline our approach to obtaining new customers while growing the business in an ever changing industry," said Pattillo.
Pattillo graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a BS in Business Administration. He went on to complete a Master's program in Insurance, as well as a marketing development training program.
