Sage North America and NetSuite partner DSD Business Systems has appointed its chief financial officer Kayley Bell to the newly created position of chief operating officer.
Bell will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of DSD’s sales, marketing, product development, finance and global operations. She will also remain as CFO and continue to report to president and chief executive Doug Deane
As CFO, Bell’s main responsibilities are forecasting, strategy and financial planning. She began with the firm in 2004 as controller.
“I am very pleased to name Kayley as DSD’s first chief operating officer. Every great organization needs the highest level of consistency and quality in the delivery of its products and services to its customers,” said Deane. “As an executive management team member for the past decade, Kayley has proven that she’s more than up to that task. This is a watershed moment for DSD and we are all very excited about Kayley’s new role.”
DSD recently ranked 42 one the Accounting Today VAR 100 list, reporting $7.8 million in revenue during 2012 with 28 locations around the country.
