New York-based Top 100 Firm EisnerAmper has created a new Consulting Services Group.
The group will be led by partner Jim Mack, who has 25 years of client service experience. Prior to joining EisnerAmper, he was president of West Valley Group, which specialized in helping senior executives with enterprise risk assessment, CFO support and merger integration.
“Risk management has never been more complex,” Mack said in a statement. “Our clients and their boards are challenged with keeping current with emerging regulations, and as a result routine reviews and process checks have never before been more critical.”
Among the primary services to be offered by EisnerAmper Consulting Services will be enterprise risk management; internal audit and controls; Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; pre-IPO readiness; finance function transformation; and technology risk services, including privacy and data security.
In announcing the new group, EisnerAmper CEO Charly Weinstein noted that Mack is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise advising senior executives and boards of directors on how to navigate emerging accounting and regulatory rulemaking.
“Jim has led audit engagements for companies in various stages of evolution, from start-ups to Fortune 50 entities and with private, public and alternative ownership structures,” said Weinstein. “Under Jim’s leadership, our new Consulting Services Group is particularly well-suited for the public and highly regulated industries we serve.”
