Equitas Strategic Partners acquired McBride Accounting, a tax, accounting and business advisory firm in the Atlanta metropolitan area, on Monday.
Equitas is an accounting and financial advisory firm founded in 2024 and based in Nashville. The deal strengthens the firm's ability to service small and midsized businesses by expanding services, particularly adding in-house tax planning and tax-preparation services.

"Business owners are often forced to manage multiple financial providers who are not always working from the same playbook," Craig Cook, founder and CEO of Equitas, said in a statement. "By welcoming McBride Accounting into Equitas, we are closing that gap. Our clients now have access to an integrated team that can help them understand their finances, plan for what is ahead, and make smarter decisions as they grow."
The McBride Accounting brand will be retired as its services and staff are consolidated under the Equitas name. McBride Accounting founder Veronique McBride will remain involved with the firm. Richard McBride will assume a leadership role within Equitas overseeing client services.
"Equitas and McBride were built around a shared belief that growing businesses deserve experienced financial guidance that is practical, accessible, and relationship-driven," Veronique McBride said in a statement. "This partnership allows us to preserve the personal service clients already trust while giving them more resources, more strategic insight and more ways to scale support as their needs evolve."
