OHIO

The Ohio Society of CPAs installed its new Executive Board: for 2012-2013: Brendan P. Fitzgerald will serve as chair and Robert G. Zunich as chair-elect, while Kathleen M. Hoover and Kenneth M. Haffey have been named to two-year terms on the board, and William Chorba has been re-elected to a two-year term. In addition, the society gave Claudia Lubaski the Outstanding Ohio Accounting Educator award, and gave J. Clarke Price, its president and CEO, its the Gold Medal for Meritorious Service to the Accounting Profession -- making him only the second non-CPA to receive the award.

 

WASHINGTON

WISCONSIN

Ore than 65 employees of Kolb+Co., Brookfield, donated 330 volunteer hours to the local Hunger Task Force Farm & Fish Hatchery during a firmwide volunteer event, planting tomato and cucumber seedlings, spreading wood chips, packing over 500 care packages of food, and more.
