The Ohio CPA Foundation, The Ohio Society of CPAs’ charitable affiliate, has awarded $40,000 in scholarships to 20 accounting majors across Ohio. The Foundation offers college scholarships to students who: Are accounting majors enrolled at an NCA and/or AACSB accredited Ohio colleges or universities; Maintain a 3.0 GPA or better (overall or in accounting); and are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program as part of a plan to obtain 150 semester hours required for the CPA exam. The recipients were selected by the Foundation’s Statewide Scholarship Committee comprised of OSCPA members. More than 100 students applied for the 20 $2,000 awards.
