GHD and KSM Form Medical Practice Consultancy

Michigan-based CPA and wealth advisory firm Godfrey Hammel, Danneels & Company and Indiana-based CPA firm Katz, Sapper & Miller have teamed up to form GHD/KSM Medical Consultants to provide financial, accounting, tax and business advisory services to health and medical industry clients.

GHD chairman Thomas Beard and KSM partner David Charles will co-manage GHD/KSM Medical Consultants.

“The creation of GHD/KSM Medical Consultants combines both firms’ healthcare industry knowledge, accounting expertise and consulting leadership to form a comprehensive service provider for physicians, hospitals and medical practices looking to increase profitability within their organization,” Beard said in a statement. “We are confident GHD/KSM Medical Consultants will bring tremendous value to the healthcare community of the Midwest.”

GHD dates back to 1920 and provides accounting and consulting services to clients throughout Southeast Michigan. KSM, founded in 1942, has more than 250 employees and is located in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind.
