Grant Thornton LLP has been selected by CCH—a Wolters Kluwer business—as the preferred implementer of CCH Global Integrator, a Web-based service that provides global data collection and consolidation, tax provisioning and tax reporting on a single system.

The agreement enables CCH to expand its presence to support corporations and offer custom implementation services provided by Grant Thornton professionals in the United States.

As a preferred implementer, Grant Thornton will work with CCH Global Integrator users to provide a customized, hands-on implementation solution. The implementation process includes consulting, configuration, data transfer from existing systems, process re-engineering and training.

“We’re pleased to work with CCH to help make Global Integrator more readily available to dynamic companies,” said Randy Robason, national partner-in-charge of Grant Thornton’s Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services practice. “This solution provides users benefits ranging from increased efficiency to decreased risk throughout the entire tax workflow process. And now it’s easier than ever for Grant Thornton to help our clients realize these benefits by getting them up and running quickly.”

Global Integrator includes full integration with CCH ProSystem fx Tax. Features include automated loading of trial balance and fixed assets data; standardization and automation of tax adjustments and loading of late accounting adjustments; automated currency conversion and consolidation; and a flexible tax basis balance sheet aligning with international accounting standards.
