Deborah C. Fallucca, CPA, has joined Gregory, Sharer & Stuart as a tax principal in the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm.
She brings more than 29 years of tax and accounting experience to GSS, providing federal tax compliance and consulting services for both individual and business clients in industries ranging from manufacturing to various service specialties.
“Debbie brings a unique background in international tax and consulting services that can help corporations in the Tampa Bay area expand locally and also compete in the worldwide market,” said managing partner Jim Newman in a statement. “She has an excellent record of client service and her credentials make her a valuable addition to our international tax practice service team.”
Prior to working at GSS, Fallucca was a tax principal at CS&L, CPAs in Sarasota, Fla. She began her career as a revenue agent for the Internal Revenue Service, where she audited closely held businesses and their owners. She spent seven years with Deloitte, and over 17 years with Rehmann.
At Rehmann, Fallucca was a shareholder and tax principal, serving as the head of their international tax department and supervising international tax compliance and consulting for clients with global activity.
She is a CPA licensed in the states of Florida and Michigan, and is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of CPAs.
She currently serves as treasurer for The Children’s Guardian Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocacy for children in the foster care system in Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties.
