Hancock Elected President of Kentucky Accountancy Board

Joseph A. Hancock, president and managing shareholder of Owensboro-based CPA firm Riney Hancock CPAs PSC, has been elected president of the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy for a one-year term through June 2012.

Hancock was originally appointed to the board by Gov. Steve Beshear for a three-year term in 2009. The board has seven members appointed by the governor, six of whom are CPAs and one a public member.

In addition to his service on the KSBA, Hancock is also a past president of the Kentucky Society of CPAs.
