Holtz Rubenstein Reminick Appoints New Managing Partner

Top 100 Firm Holtz Rubenstein Reminick LLP has appointed Barry H. Garfield to serve as managing partner. Garfield, who is partner-in-charge of practice development and a member of the executive committee, took on his new role on Oct. 1, 2012. 

Garfield joined Holtz Rubenstein Reminick nearly 25 years ago and has since played an essential part in the firm’s growth plans. He helped the firm to diversify its service offerings, and pursued prospective growth through M&A activity.

Client service is a top priority for Garfield and he has used his skills to assist privately held and publicly traded companies with accounting and auditing.  

Garfield currently sits as the chairman for the Long Island chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and also serves as the vice president of its New York chapter.   

He is a board member of the Long Island Association, the Advancement for Commerce Industry and Technology. He also serves as a member of the advisory board of the Risk Management Association, an executive board member of DFK International and president of its American division.
