Top 100 firm Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C. has acquired Doyle & Keenan, P.C., a firm in Davenport, Iowa.

[IMGCAP(1)]The acquisition, which took effect on January 1, promises to bolster Dubuque-based HK’s presence in Iowa. HK ranked 66th on Accounting Today’s 2015 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $52.9 million in annual revenue.

“We are very excited about the recent acquisition of Doyle & Keenan,” said HK managing partner Greg Burbach in a statement. “Their firm has a fabulous reputation in the Quad City market and has a close cultural fit with HK. We both believe in serving clients with the personal touch while helping them be more profitable. It’s a great addition to HK’s presence and continued investment in the Quad City community.”

[IMGCAP(2)]Steven Campana, a former principal of D&K, will become a partner with HK. “My partners, Nick Nauman, Frank Ludgate, Michelle Steining and I knew where we wanted to lead the firm by providing additional and needed services benefiting the strategic-minded and goal-oriented individuals and organizations that we are passionate about serving,” he said. “We were delighted to find that Honkamp Krueger had like-minded leadership who, frankly, were already successful in delivering those services to a very similar client base. We look forward to serving the Quad City community together by helping our clients understand the past, plan for the future and take action in the present by providing first-class service, every customer, every time.”
