Host Analytics has released the latest version of its on-demand corporate performance management software, with enhanced budgeting, planning and modeling features.

Host Analytics Version 8 includes what-if analysis inspired by war game planning. "We enhanced our what-if capabilities to mirror the ability to plan based on changing market conditions," said vice president of product marketing and management Ric Ratkowski. "The second piece was transitioning from a strategic plan to budgeting and analysis."

Host Analytics chief marketing officer Gary Damiano also said the company has received an unspecified amount of funding from Advanced Technology Ventures and Trident Capital.
